March 2023 Product Update

March was a busy month for us at RootFi. We launched support for two new accounting platforms – MYOB Business and Wave, further improving our coverage for our customers. We also introduced several data model changes and tutorials to help new users get started with our platform. Read on for all of our March updates.
New integration: MYOB Business
We introduced the MYOB Business integration, one of Australia and New Zealand’s most popular accounting platforms.
Under this integration, we’ve added read support for Line Items, Invoices, Bills, Bill Payments, Invoice Payments, Contacts, Journal Entries, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Invoice Credit Notes, Bill Credit Notes, Expenses, Accounts, Items, Tax Rates, and Bank Accounts.
New integration: Wave
Our integration with the Wave accounting platform is also up and running as of this month. We’ve introduced read support for Accounts, Bank Accounts, Contacts, Company Info, Invoices, Items, and Tax Rates. We’ve also introduced write support for Accounts, Bank Accounts, Items, Contacts, Invoices, and Tax Rates.
In addition to our two new integrations, we’ve also made the following data model changes:
- Merged the Customers and Vendors data models into a new Contacts model, making it easier for our customers to access and manage their users’ Contacts data
- Added write support for Invoice Payments, Bill Payments, and Journal Entries for Tally Prime
- We have also added write support for Line Items, Invoices, Bills, Bill Payments, Invoice Payments, Contacts, Bank Transactions, Journal Entries, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Invoice Credit Notes, Bill Credit Notes, Expenses, Accounts, Items, Tax Rates, and Bank Accounts for Sage Business Cloud (ZA)
Other updates
- We’ve added several tutorials to help new users get started with the RootFi platform, including step-by-step guides on how to use our product. You can access these tutorials in the Help Centre on the RootFi Dashboard.
